Project Overview
InterMedianer:in is an online portfolio platform for InterMedia students. The goal was to design a clean and minimal prototype that makes student projects visible, easy to browse, and connected to opportunities through a simple job board.
Challenge
InterMedia students often showcase their projects on scattered platforms like Instagram or Behance. This makes it difficult to find, compare, or present work in a professional way. The challenge was to design one central, student-focused portfolio space that is simple, curated, and highlights the creative work instead of distracting with heavy design.
Research

InterMedia students and alumni.
User Goals:
Show projects in a professional environment.
Discover the work of peers easily.
Access opportunities (jobs, collaborations).
Insights:
Students preferred a minimal, clear interface with filters and search, instead of complex social features.

InterMedianer:in is a minimal, student-centered platform that puts creative work first:
🖼 Full-bleed project views without distractions.
🧑🎓 Student profiles with study details and links.
🏆 Highlighted projects and randomised sliders for discovery.
📋 A dedicated job board for internships and freelance work.
Impact
Positive feedback from students. Interest in using the platform and motivation to showcase work.
Proved that a minimal UI can be powerful when the focus is on content.
Created a strong base for a future live MVP, beyond just a concept.
Learnings
Minimalism works best when content is rich, less UI means more focus on the projects.
A single typeface can create consistency and reduce visual noise.
Clear filters and simple forms improve usability and lower the barrier for publishing.
